The art department at Skuados School of Art was founded on October 1, 1997. In this department, children are introduced to various art techniques, they are taught composition, painting, sculpture, sculpting, drawing and knowledge of art. The art education program lasts seven years. Children aged 7-10 years study according to the elementary art education program (duration - 3 years), children 11 years and older study according to the basic art education program (duration - 4 years). Students who have finished school have the opportunity to attend an art studio.

Educational and educational excursions to exhibitions, museums, viewings of student works are organized. Targeted and comprehensive art education helps to form a creative personality.

Head of the department, teacher and methodologist Rimantas Eideus in 1986. graduated from MK Čiurlionis Art School, 1986 - 1993. studied sculpture at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Creates memorial forms, medals, portraits, decorative sculptures. Author of six collectible commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Lithuania. Member of the Union of Lithuanian Artists.

Methodist teacher Jurgita Eidėjienė 1983 - 1987 attended the Kaunas Art School, 1994. acquired a specialty in textiles at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, 2000 - 2002. studied for a master's degree at the VDA Kaunas Institute. Creates colored prints of linen carvings, tapestries, wall painting, decorative sculpture. Participates in exhibitions, symposia. She cooperates with the Museum of the Diocese of Varnia, has created the visualization of the exhibition of Bishop M. Valančiaus.

Methodist art teacher Jolanta Milerienė in 1997. graduated from Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute (now Šiauliai University) with a bachelor's degree in art and technology. In the same year, he started working in the art department of the School of Art. Creates private interiors, furniture projects, interior details. Interested in creating jewelry and accessories. The technique of painting on silk works.

A good material base has been created in the art department of Skuodas Art School. Classes are held in three well-equipped art classrooms. A large collection of models has been accumulated: household items, stuffed animals, plaster geometric figures and plaster head models. We have the ability to print linen carvings, fire ceramics, cast plaster, weave carpets, carve, photograph. The students have completed their final works using oil painting, printing, design, metal plastic, mosaic, ceramic techniques, conceptual art solutions and new technologies are also used.

    Exhibitions of students' creative works are organized in the Skuodas cultural center, the Skuodas municipality, the museum, the children's library, the information center, and the exhibition in the hall of the art school is constantly changing. The Skuodas Art School is famous for its exhibitions and presentations in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the US Embassy in Lithuania, the professional development center for pedagogues in Vilnius, the Telšiai exhibition halls, the Vilnius Pedagogical University, the Ieva Simonaitytė library of Klaipėda county. Student works represent the school.
